Made for
the long way
around.
Redwood Gear builds quiet, honest packs for people who spend weekends in the weather. Three capacities. Each one field-tested until we trusted the carry.
——— Since 2014 · Pacific Northwest
We started with a pack that survived three jackets, two tents, and a questionable used car. The goal was to build more gear like that.
Redwood began as a bench, a stack of yard-sale fabrics, and a stubborn belief that outdoor equipment used to be quieter and tougher. We still prototype by walking until something fails—then we fix it.
Every buckle route, seam allowance, and foam density is chosen for seasons of abuse. If something wears out, tell us—we stock parts and patch what we can.
Three packs.
Built in full.

The difference is what
we refuse to substitute.
No mystery foam that dies after a season. No glossy coatings that peel in heat. Only textiles we can inspect, burn-test, and stand behind when the forecast lies.
Design target · typical trail abuse
Carry volumes · no fluff SKUs
“I have lived out of the Wolf for two seasons of weekend missions. Still the same straps I started with.”
